Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions About Our Floor Coatings
General Questions
We install epoxy and polyurea systems for both residential and commercial surfaces.
Yes. Cracks, pits, and damaged areas are repaired with mender before the coating is applied.
We diamond-grind the surface to open the concrete and remove weak or contaminated layers. This step is essential for strong adhesion.
We work on both new and old concrete, as long as the surface is structurally sound.
Installation and Timing
Most projects are completed in one day. Larger or heavily damaged surfaces may take longer.
Foot traffic is usually allowed after 24 hours.
Vehicles can return after about 36 hours.
Grinding produces dust, but our HEPA-filtered vacuums help keep the area clean.
Performance and Durability
With proper care, coatings can last for many years. For most homeowners, the system lasts as long as they own the property.
Coated concrete can become slippery if water sits on the surface. We add texture to improve traction, and additional anti-slip material can be added upon request.
If the concrete moves due to shifting or settling, cracks can reappear. The coating itself does not prevent structural movement.
Maintenance
Use mild detergents such as Simple Green or Dawn. Rinse well with water. Low-pressure power washing is acceptable.
Coated concrete is sealed and more resistant to staining than bare concrete. Spills should still be cleaned to avoid long-term discoloration.
Project and Payment
Yes. Estimates are free and come with no obligation.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and cash.
Liquid Granite is used around pools and in direct sunlight. We do not coat the immediate wet zone around pools.
